Stuttgart erleben — indeed! I woke up little after 7, didn’t actually sleep much, just rolled around. I went to eat breakfast, which is conluded in the 14.70€/night price of the hostel. Then I went up and gathered my stuff and went to the city. The receptionists were glad to sell me a map for 50c.
I went then to the city centre and took many pictures of it, quite a bunch involving the “new castle”. I can safely say that Stuttgart is a beautiful city. But if anything, Köln and Eindhoven are easier. You know why? Stuttgart is bloody hilly! It’s about as hard (if not harder) than Buda.
I went a big circle in the city centre, explored all kinds of shops and stuff, saw awesome fountains, pipes, telescopes and airsoft guns, all of which I have taken pictures of. Oh, and a sushi restaurant. And more pipes, the maker of which is wisiting the shop today and tomorrow 11 to 18:00 and 10 to 16:00, respectively. Sphelx should totally be there.
I got back to the hostel around half past 11, went back down to return a bottle (and get back 25c.) and then I sat down in a net café to read mail and write up 14th’s entry.
I got to learn that Dracovar actually likes the pic! Eeeeee! I was already having a fairly good day but this has very much made it!
Then I went back up to the hostel, and since it’s above 30°C, I took a shower.
Sometime between 13 and 14:00 I went to northeast, bought some food to eat tonight, and at the coast of the river here, I saw strange hills, the top of which were shooting water. And there was a fountain with mineral water, it tasted very metallic. I stay by the bottled stuff, heh!
I crossed the river, there was a strange subway system with youngsters painting on the walls. Some kids (young teens) asked why I was taking photos, I told them I was a tourist and told them I’m Hungarian, to which the one I was talking to tried to fake some Slavonic language, to which I said that we aren’t Slavs.
Oh well :P I walked around some more, and eventually came home (all way walked) at about 5 in the afternoon.
And now I’m typing this up in my favourite little netcafé.
Art is coming later, I still have about an hour to wander around and do nothing. Gonna buy me a 3-day-ticket, there’s no cheaper way even if I try to do everything by foot.
I wish it was a bit cooler out there!

The Fernsehturm is closed at the moment, they're renovating it, I don't think it will be reopened until spring 2006. :(
